I was going through the archives and I had forgot about this one….I am blowing the dust off of my sketchbook tomorrow and will post a few illustrations that have been circling around in my head.

grad present...

This is a painting I made for my daughter ….we are on our way to her elementary school graduation! Congratulations Georgia! We are so excited for your future!   What do you paint for a 14 year old ? hmmmm…song lyrics are perfect!  Took me awhile to find some that were appropriate…sad..but true!   Off to celebrate!!!

creative energy!

I have carved a few hours of alone time out of my day…ahhhhhh…a quick post then plans to get elbow deep in drippy, messy, colourful paint and whatever else I can get my hands on.  Feeling a burst of creative energy today….I must not let that go to waste.  It seems to happen so rarely these days :(….maybe this is the start of a positive trend…..

london calling

   In my absence...soccer games...charity day...birthday parties...home reno's....and last but not least....lots of zzzzzz's!  I am excited to announce that a new little bean will be welcomed into our family in early December! We are over the moon excited! My son is hoping for a brother...he thinks that 4 sisters would be far too much to handle!!! And I think he might be right! A little more testosterone and a little less estrogen might swing the balance a little more in a manageable direction..but...we still have em beat on leaving the seat down!  Stay tuned...in a few weeks we hope to find out...if the little one cooperates and lets us get a peek!  Either way...we are blessed!
 On a side note....Josh and I are visiting London for a week sans kids! It is fabulous! I now can say that I have experienced jetleg.... but the city is so beautiful I wouldn't dare complain.  We are off to see Jersey Boys tomorrow night...the theaters are incredible and the city is full of so much history it is almost overwhelming!

Lately, I have been completely addicted to some fabulous design blogs….such as…aesthetic outburst and…desire to inspire and…  absolutely beautiful things .  *sigh…check them out, you will not be disappointed!
